Join our exclusive 5-day fossil hunting trips to our ranch, offered several times a year. Explore fossil-rich Oligocene Brule and Eocene Chadron formations, where you can discover and keep remarkable fossils like saber cats, hell pigs, oreodonts, horses, camels, and turtles. Spend 8 hours a day hunting, digging, and collecting your finds, guided only by your curiosity and the thrill of discovery.

What can we expect to find?

One should expect to find complete fossil teeth, bones, jaws and turtle pieces from various animals that lived during the time. On top of that, several skulls and complete tortoises typically come of each trip. Each find is yours to keep, offering a tangible connection to millions of years of Earth’s history, unearthed through your own exploration. What do we need to bring?

Come prepared with a long straight-bladed knife for digging, potentially a rock hammer, and containers for fossils. Bring heavy-duty aluminum foil, burlap, plaster, or plaster wraps for jacketing your finds. We provide no equipment or supplies, so ensure you have everything needed for fossil collection.
